Francis Audio-Visual is the oldest name in the rental and staging community of Upstate New York.  For 49 years our name has been synonymous with meetings throughout Central and Western New York.  Firmly routed in the local hospitality scene, we help stage many of Central and Western New York’s special events.  Conference Support is also one of our mainstays. 

Try one of our many links to learn more about our services and the many venues we have supported over the years.  Although smaller meetings are a national trend, we have the equipment and years of experience for groups in the thousands.  With today’s technologies, communicating with large groups is easier and more cost effective than ever before. 

For example –
Let’s say you’re a national speaker and you need to reach 5000 people in an outdoor venue such as our own Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse or at our own NYS Fairgrounds.  Now you can do this very effectively using large screen video displays.  If it’s in the evening the more cost effective technology using LCD projection may be most effective.  Or, if it’s in the middle of the day, you can now display live camera video to an audience in broad daylight!  The new LED technology used in these screens cuts through daylight and gets your image out to your audience.  Things have changed indeed.

At the other end of the spectrum, technology has also affected our industry in a positive way.  When it comes to small group presentations of 5 to 20 people, micro-portable LCD projectors weighing only 3 lbs now have light outputs of 2000 lumens!  That’s more than twice what a Kodak slide projector was a mere 10 years ago.  Projectors are essentially the same size and weight as today’s laptops.  These projectors have streamlined today’s presentations, replacing the overhead projector, the slide projector and the video monitor all with one device.

Lastly in the area of audio, although the appearance of the device hasn’t changed dramatically, the technology inside has.  Wireless is the word with everything from microphones to conference phones to PA systems.  “No wires” makes your life easier and that’s our role.  We’re here to provide top-notch service, equipment and all-around professional consultation and operation of equipment as needed.  Feel free to call and “pick our brain”!  We look forward to talking with you.
