Looking to add some dynamic visuals to a static or boring booth display? Dynamic video/graphics shown on a wide-screen plasma or LCD display positioned high in your booth is a great solution! Check out what we do for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles display at the Fair (see photo above). In a crowded tradeshow floor full of dozens of other state agencies and other attractions, for an economical price the DMV has added a video display that draws lots of attention. As they say, “Content is King”. While Francis A-V provides the hardware solution, the DMV has produced a terrific video that has just the right mix of movement, color and graphics to draw people to its booth. Positioning of the display is also important. The Sony 42” plasma screen on it’s 7’ pedestal positions the screen at just the right height and angle for people to see it from 75’ away or from 8’ away. This year with DVD’s so inexpensive to produce, all that was required to drive the screen was an inexpensive DVD player with auto repeat. Other uses for flat screen technology in tradeshow environments – As space is at a premium price at a trade show, flat screen TV’s are a natural. Direct view plasma or LCD displays take up a fraction of the space that CRT or big screen TV’s or LCD projectors and screens do! CRT TV’s have been around so long, people tend to ignore them. A flat plasma or LCD screen with good video content does attract attention. Whether it’s an informational or entertainment video, a flat screen TV is a great idea. Another application is if you’re giving a live demonstration. If you need to be seen by people way in the back, use a video camera and put your live image up on a screen 7-8 feet in the air. If you’re perhaps doing a cooking demonstration, you can put a second image up on the same screen showing a view of your cooking surface. Whether you have a simple traditional 8’x 10’ booth or an elaborate 40’ x 40’ island display at a national show we can help. Traditionally, audio has been the most important part of any presentation. Audio is the link that gets the actual message to your target audience in most cases. In a trade show environment you typically have major ambient light and sound issues from surrounding displays and floor lighting. Maybe you need audio that is directed to a specific spot in your booth. This is easily done with a little planning. Often audio is not possible and your message needs to be conveyed in a non-conventional way. Perhaps via your video or a handout DVD/CD.
